Great news!
The Tiwai Paradigm governing the structure of the Tiwai Industrial trial project:
Is now ready for further location/relocation as the final concept parameters have been finalised and now ready for implementation.
The Tiwai Point location allowed the concept to be designed/scaled/risk assessed, with a dedicated focus on the actual environmental issues associated with that location. The trial plant was originally scoped for processing 4 million tons of Bauxite with high titanium levels, as well as other trace elements including some rare earth metals targeted for recovery and processing, with a design focus of 0% waste and very low emissions.
The New Zealand Government and Rio Tinto have now cleared the trial plant to be adapted for further locations, freeing Sasquatch Limited to pursue futher implementations of the concept without restraint or encumbrance Localised reconfigurations of the trial plant are now ready for deployment to other sites within New Zealand and Australia, and Sasquatch is ready to enter into any talks with other interested parties who have a desire to investigate the option of hosting a trial plant within their country.
We recognise that in today’s geopolitical environment many parties would like to reduce their reliance on internationally sourced materials, including rare earth metals, and we look forward to discussions with interested parties.
